After the Tsunami had destroyed their islands, the Nicobarese were flooded by dozens of NGOs who confronted them with the unknown globalised world. Today, the NGOs have left, the money is spent. „Aftermath“ tells the story of young people from an ancient tribe who are searching with pride and humour for their own, self-determined futured.
An „emotional scientist“, an investigative journalist from the islands and a Nicobarese prince are looking together for ways out of the „Second Flood“.
