Born in Evin by Maryam Zaree wins the German Film Award in the category Best Documentary. This is another outstanding honour for our co-production, amongst several renowned awards in 2019: Berlinale Kompass-Perspektive Award, Int. 5 Seen Filmfestival, Hessischer Film – and Cinema-award and two awards at the FEST - New Directors/ New Films Festival in Portugal. The film also participated at important Festivals like IDFA, Hot Docs and was the opening film of This Human World Festival.
